Dirty water, not a lawn,
Steamers, boats and ... a swan!
Though He is not the largest
Among the vessels, cranes and barges,
I can't but keep on him my eyes -
He's a real great surprise!
White as snow on the ground
He's swimming proudly around.
No ship hinders his action.
Isn't he sure of the Queen's protection?
The sight of his is rather grand,
The river seems to be his friend.
The London Port is noisy, busy,
The Docks' life isn't very easy,
But I'd like to make a bet:
The swan'll remain the Thames's pet!
