In the West End, mend your pace,
You'll find a "foreign place".
Drop in Soho for a while,
You'll see a life "not English style".
Cafes, restaurants in a line
Offer tasty meals and wine.
People's gestures, loud-laugh...
All are strangers, not a half.
You can speak to men of worth
Every language on the Earth.
The district is a concentration
Of all Bohemian population.
Soho admires film-makers and "stars"
(They drive up there in modern cars).
Of writers and artists it also thinks.
It's good to mention two more things:
The Soho theatrical life never stops
And it's famous for cheap clothes shops.
