The isle of Skye
I will be if I'm lost.
You shouldn't venture to find me
'Cause for now I'm a ghost.
Though the winds howl and blow
I cannot sense the storm,
Though the sun lights don't glow
I can still feel the warm.
My weak legs are so strong
That I can't feel the pain
And my pure shining soul
Now is free from the chains!
Let the winds howl and blow,
Let the sea sing its songs,
Let the sun shine and glow
To the land that I own!
I would've climbed any peak!
Now I can't feel no fear!
I would've wallowed in a creek!
But I see you are here...
Now I can't hear your voice
When you're screaming my name...
That was my only choice,
The choice that I made.
Now I can see you there
When you're standing beside
But you think that's unfair
That you can't catch my sight.
Now I can see your face
With these tears of despair.
It's a peaceful quiet place.
You should look everywhere!.
Turn your face to the grass
Then look up to the sky!
Isn't it like a glass?
Birds are flying so high!..
You can't hear what I say.
You can't see what I see.
Well, that means you can't stay.
Well, that means you're not free.
Oh, the shadowy waters
Of the restless cold tides
What's the secret of the mortals
You should long try to hide?
Let the winds howl and blow
On the Isle of Skye!
Let the sun never glow
In the dark cloudy sky!
Let the sea sing its songs
About the deepest despair!
Let the sea sing its songs
About the ghosts buried there!
On the Isle of Skye
We will be if we're lost
And for now please don't cry
Because we are just ghosts...
