Forever is a lonely word,
deprived of anything that mattered,
that happened, painfully occured,
of easywear, torn and battered.
A seed that grows to a tree,
by powers of recollection
of what was then, and what would be,
is an exceptable exception.
And wisdom plays no benefits,
its covenant is plainly written,
by fits and starts, but mostly fits,
and bitten once, forever bitten.
