A trip through the galaxy

I had a trip through the space
It was such a beautiful place!
I pushed a button with my fingertip
And there was a launch of my trip.

Within a few seconds I saw my planet Earth, moving away
It was so small, like a colorful ball I could play.
I zoomed past all the planets in our galaxy,
They were more amazing than in my fantasy.

The first planet I passed was Mercury,
I decided to land there but it wasn’t properly.
The temperature was so hot,
When I opened the door and wanted to go out.

Venus was the second planet I saw.
It looked pretty small, but bigger than Mercury though.
I couldn’t land there as its temperature is
Over four hundred and seventy degrees.

Then I saw the most colorful planet of Earth,
But I had to keep on to set off.
I had just a quick look at the Moon
And I passed it pretty soon

As I had to go on this trip
And to head for the Solar system’s tip.
Then I saw a red planet of Mars,
Surrounded by a lot of stars.

But after Mars I didn’t expect
To face a gigantic asteroid belt.
I could barely avoid
Touching every asteroid.

I saw a gas planet of Jupiter a little later
With its red speck that was endless tornado.
Then there was a turn for me to see Saturn.
Its rings were orbiting it, they were perfect with no demerit.

Uranus was the seventh planet of my path
Then I was almost in Milky Way’s depth.
After that planet with some stone rings
I headed for Neptune with the same things.

The last planet of the Solar system I saw
Was freezing and ice-made Pluto.
Well, and after Pluto the trip was over.
I had nothing to do at this situation,
But getting back to the shuttle station.

I’d be glad if everyone had that little trip
And knew our galaxy from its start to its tip.

But I can say the one and last thing:
From all the planets I have seen
The most beautiful planet before and after I set off
Of course was our Earth.
