Princess Cinderella - Once Burned...

Once burned I’ve learned to be twice shy –
But, Darling, please – don’t ask me why.
Remembering troublesome Pandora
Let’s put our hopes on tomorrow.

Your lips are soothing and attractive.
And gaze is charmingly reflective,
So deep, galactic, and blue-eyed.
There’s everything I dreamed to find.

You seem a happy girl, you know.
And you don’t care what is snow
And frosty windows quaintly laced
‘cause frosts are seldom in your place.

And fortunately in your being
There wasn’t a lot of winter seeing.
Except in cocktails served with slice
You’ve felt no other burning ice.

Caught in your aura I’m so happy.
You even treat me like your baby.
And it’s a real gift of luck
That I am with you and I’m stuck.

Give me your hand – I need to tell you:
I dreamed of Princess Cinderella –
Some day to meet her in the Reign
Of Love that brings us joy and pain.

If you agree and if you love me
Let’s two take our way and carve it.
I’m holding your hand in mine –
It pledges we’ll cross any brine.

Together under Heaven’s dome
We’ll find a place for our home
To love each other and our kids
And bead our happy days and deeds.
