Getting up in the morning, slowly.
Lips touched a smile,
Nowhere to hurry ,nowhere to run
I am a retired nurse now!
Uniforms in the closet,
Hanging in there, just so
But there's consolation,
I'm glad to getting calls
Especially from :
Nurses, my colleagues,
And friends, I deserved
Always I glad to get
"Smileys", and " Like's"
On the Facebook page
Skype virtual sentimentality.
Almost became a reality
To see and to talk to
Relatives and my grandkids,
This is what Happiness
To a retired nurse means!
