Geographical Articles

If you want to speak about
Countries, cities, lakes or states,
Articles are not allowed
(And with villages and bays).

If you want to speak about
Something very big or small
Articles are not allowed.
For example: hills or falls,
Horns or islands, peninsulas,
Volcanos, or mountain peaks
Towns, provinces, remember:
Articles are not with these.

If you speak about countries
Which are used in plural forms,
Please, use "the" before the titles.
Also, please use it before:
Archipelagos or Oceans,
Rivers, seas, deserts or straits,
Canals, regions, groups of something
(Groups of islands, mountains, lakes),
Countries like the Senegal
Also like the Lebanon,
Sure, like the Vatican,
Should be written with "the" so.
Provinces like the Crimea,
The Riviera, the Tyrol,
The Caucasus and the Transvaal,
Like the Ruhr and like the Soar,
Cities (there're not a lot of)
Like the Hague (and that is all)
Should be written not like others,
But with "the" standing before.

Keep in mind: THE Gulf of Finland,
And THE Cape of Good Hope too.
Write it clear and tell all people
Only "the" before, it's true.

If you must describe a country
Like "the Magical Japan",
It can't be without "the", sure,
With an adjective post that.

If you know it - you know grammar,
And you're cleverer than others.
Show it to your friends and classmates.
Clever kids make proud their mothers.
