Violet mystery- a secret-
That belongs to a slim lupine,
Is absorbed by gloomy liquid,
Which fills scarlet poppies in.
Iris keeps his deepest sorrow-
Hi's in love with a coquette -
Needs some courage to borrow,
While she answers him:" Nyet-Nyet!"
"God, she's Russian! Gentle Lily",-
Says the rival-columbine, -
"Makes all flowers look so silly,
But I swear she will be mine."
Gives a sigh, poor admirer,
So languorous, so fragile,
Who'll chill out this passion fire?
Bright and happy camomiles!
