The Alan Parsons Project - La Sagrada Familia

In recent times, there is no one at all who can approach Antonio Gaudi. He started a new cathedral, in Barcelona. It is called La Sagrada Familia or the Holy Family. The sad thing is they could try to finish it but I don't think they will do it.

В настоящее время нет никого, кто мог бы хотя бы приблизиться к Антонио Гауди. Он начал строительство нового собора в Барселоне. Его назвали La Sagrada Familia, или собор Святого Семейства. Грустно, что они могли попытаться закончить его, но не думаю, что его когда-нибудь закончат на самом деле.

Who knows where the winds may blow us, only a fool would say | Кто знает, куда нас задует ветер – скажет лишь глупец,
Who knows if we'll ever reach the shore | Кто знает, доберёмся ли мы когда-нибудь до берега?
Follow a rising sun with eyes that may only stare | Следуй за восходящим солнцем глазами, что могут лишь смотреть.
What kind of fire will burn us there? What kind of fire? | Что за пламя сжигает нас там? Что это за пламя?
Only a fool would say | Лишь глупец скажет такое.

Under clear blue skies our voices rise in songs of glory | Под чистыми синими небесами наши голоса поднимаются песнями о славе,
And for all those years our eyes and ears were filled with tears | И все эти годы наши глаза и уши были полны слезами…
