A poem of a humanlike universe

To a person who was a poet long before I became one

I would take you seriously with your pajamas on
I would trust you when you're in front of people
Because what I see in you, my friend, is a reflection of mine
In a parallel universe, in another place
Somewhere else along the endless road
We will meet again and again
You will be me and I'll be you
But what won't change
Is a bond we create each time we collide
Let me hope it never will
Who am I to say never?
But still I do
Still I do
