When I lay dying

When I was laying down in the ground,
I saw the sea of green below me,
I saw the breeze in trees, trembling leaves,
I saw the sky with my faded eyes.

When I was laying down in my bed,
I knew, I woudn't get up till the end,
I had so many eyes to forget
And I got too less time to regret.

But life is big
In our dreams,
Full of pain,
Full of trees,

But it's more than to hug
And less than to breathe
For us and them.

And even though
We beware:
We shall die
Anywhere,

But we won't be alone
And we won't be so scared
To pass away.

When I lay dying there, in sunlight,
I saw how much this shine can be bright,
And soon I started loosing my mind,
And all I got at last was delight.

But something cold had come through the door.
I might had passed, but lost where to go.
And there, nowhere, I started to fall
In this pure light with no shine at all.
