If I wеre a Serpent My Father was the Sun

If I were a serpent and my father was the sun
Suddenly the night came and yesterday has gone
Dark devoured his might of tomorrow to become
If I were a serpent and my father was the sun

He will shine forever from the childish dreams
Giving all his power to overcome the fears
My father calmly whispers: "To me you shall return,
On other side of night our sun forever burns"

So I have awoken from a marish sleep
Seeing my true Self so hidden long & deep
My father shines above me & singing from inside
As I am a serpent of the sun that rides the sky
