when he feels like a fugitive i feel like plaque
when he takes a course in roadblocks I'm smitten
he needs to learn the hard way
he needs
he should
we all know what he needs
he's in the middle of road therapy
masks will deliver oxygen
bags will encase in the air bubble
we will construct a safety net
a plan
a trap
we can't fathom where he's at
see there he is right in the middle
the one who averts his gaze on a family picture
when i feel like a bag chock-full'o failures
i am bound to make another mistake
i am i am
ready to let him be his best
live his worst
