A portrait of a function,
The toil of mind’s art,
A union, a junction,
So fine, won’t fall apart,
Of two pervasive powers
Inside the human mind
That give support to towers
And keep machines in line.
The geometric figures,
Once they had met their souls –
Equations – pull their triggers.
We’re pushed towards new goals,
Like bullets, now we’re flying
Towards a newer world,
We’ll try to make truth triumph,
We’ll work to say our word
Within the maze of science,
We’ll see slight signs of light,
And there shall be no silence,
If our clients are bright.
Yet, not a tool or robot
Can substitute your brain:
You’ve got to play your oboe,
You’ve got to drive your train,
And train yourself to master
All universal laws,
While life is getting faster,
With many at a loss.
So, pay your dues to numbers,
To ratios and to shapes,
And when your mind stumbles,
Or memory escapes,
They may come to your rescue:
You asked them to get back,
And help you do your best to
Avoid mistakes and slack.
An answer you shall find,
And reach your wanted goal,
Just use your little mind
And go for lots of gold!
