I feel mesmerized by the sea,
Like a seagull above so free
In his sail on the wind in the sky.
The heaven above dark and high…
The murmur of waves at my feet –
A tempting and promising beat,
A whisper of final good-bye.
The heaven above dark and high…
No light in the sea, no ship.
The waves touch my feet and then slip.
I feel mesmerized and I sigh…
The heaven so dark and so high.
