Lady Jane and Robin s Team. автоперевод Леди Джейн

Jane sat by the fire, stirred up the brushwood to make it burn brighter, then stepped aside, sat under an old oak and looked at the friends she was with for a while. Yes, she had a premonition that just for a while. Her parents are looking for her and soon they`ll find her. They have enough people and money. But she wants to stay with these friends...
She ran away from home when she heard that the friends of Robin of Sherwood were noticed in the woods near her family estate. When she came of age Jane started to hate this "beaumonde" she was supposed to live in after the marriage - her parents appointed a prominent groom for her when she was a baby - it was the son of lord Swift from the neighbouring estate, but her freedom-loving nature was totally against such planned marriage. She wanted to meet someone who`ll take her heart and soul not by the plan, nor by her parents` will but by the will of Destiny. Derryk Swift, her potential husband, even made her a present - a beautiful wedding diadem. But it has been placed in Jane`s lockbox, she never put it on since the day Derryk gave it to her.
When she heard rumours that the friends of Robin of Sherwood were noticed nearby her home, Jane didn`t reflect too long. Having taken just the most needed stuff, one night she went outside and disappeared in the forest. It didn`t take much time to find them. The smell of fire and frying meat led her directly to the small meadow where Robin and his team were having their late night supper. At first they were a bit reluctant to accept the young lady but suddenly she ran into the woods for a while and - what a miracle! - brought a fine hare for the meal and also told she noticed the patrols of the sheriff of Nottingham under the hill. The team were amazed by such abilities of the young runaway and they accepted her. And Jane wandered with them in the woods for several weeks. She hunted, looked, listened, and helped them with everything she could. And so - another calm evening by the fire...
Jane sat under the oak listening to them. Friends discussed recent events, argued about something, joked on each other and laughed, the full moon was shining and everything was fine.
The young lady admired them. Especially one of them...
Each of them was good in his own way.
Robin. The head and soul of the team. Slim, charming, courageous. Marian looked at him, her eyes were filled with love. He always protected her, took care of her, and when he saw a meadow of flowers he made such beautiful wraths for her that not a single diadem could compare.
Little John. A joke, not a nickname. Little John was a giant. Well-tempered like all BIG men, but when the team needed real force and a strong fist - John was always there.
Will Scarlet. Hot-tempered, impulsive, some kind of a bully, but a faithful and devoted friend.
Young Much. He reminded Jane of her childhood friend, son of the blacksmith she used to play with. Almost the same - sensitive, a little timid, but very kind guy.
Even the fatty Tuck was fine! He didn`t fast so frequently as his monk`s orders required - he would prefer to have a drink of good wine and a meal of a couple pieces of fried venison, but he could always tell a couple of interesting stories from the Bible.
But Jane looked most of time at the most silent one. Nasir the saracen. Really his name was much longer but everyone called him "Nasir". Jane put the story of his life together from the little pieces of the conversations. Time ago he broke some law where he was born, escaped and was forced to hide; then, when he came to England, he served as a henchman for some noble warlock who captured him but having met Robin in a sword fight he decided to leave his employer and joined the friends from Sherwood.
It was Nasir who Jane admired most of all. Silently... Nobody was to notice that. Nasir could move in the woods without any noise, also he could unmistakably find a beast, a creek, a place for a camp by his own signs. Jane saw him several times in a friendly fight with Little John and Will Scarlet. And a couple of times in a real fight when a group of some other outlaws caught them. Nasir evaded the enemy`s blows with an agility of a tiger, he hit with an accuracy of an experienced warrior, and noone could compare with him in archery, swordplay and in hand-to-hand fighting.
And in communication he was taciturn and modest, he preferred to listen than to talk. But Jane`s grandmother, a wise elderly woman, always told her granddaughter "A word of a man who doesn`t talk in vain weighs more and costs more". Silent and reflective, Nasir attracted a special attention of the young lady. She looked at the saracen with thrill in her heart. Her soul was singing when she saw his smile, as rare as his words. And she felt dizzy when his warm attentive brown eyes looked at her... She dreamed of him during the night sleep already... And very soon Jane understood what was happening to her.
The young English rebellious lady fell in love with the runaway saracen.
She always made him the softest bed of grass for sleeping. She was ready to give him the best pieces of food she and Marian cooked for the friends. And, of course, she worried about him most of all when guys went hunting or exploring.
She was eager to do anything for him. Never mind that Nasir doesn`t look at her that special way she looked at him. It`s just a question of time.
The day before Jane was scouting on the secret road nearby a small village and heard that a rich family was looking for their runaway daughter. And that this young woman was noticed with the friends of Robin of Sherwood! Having returned to the guys she didn`t tell them a word of what she heard. The voice of her heart told she would do anything to stay with her new faithful friends. She shut up the voice of mind. She would do everything to go insane with the brown eyes of the silent saracen FOREVER.
