Gin and a genius

Gin and a genius
Made it ingenious
To have a bet
On a wet cat.

They found it in a bog
And despite the smog
The genius got the cat
To win the bet.

Gin made a grin
On the skinny skin
Of the genius’ lips
When a curse slips
Off his teeth
Into the bog beneath.

And the wet cat
Was too grateful for that
As he licked the genius’ mouth
On the way to the house
Where he stayed for long
As he believed with all his faith
He belonged to that dry place.
