Loving this way.

Your memories fade.
I regret almost nothing,

But burdened you grief.
Suppressing ill tongues,
You treated me high.
It was honor to me
Being yours that night.
It is time you let go -
Cry no tears in vain.
Wish I’d take it all back
For you felt any pain.
The fault is not yours,
But the choice is of mine.
Meeting death from your hand
Is relief, not a crime.
You've been bearing so much,
