Access to grandfather is God’s given gift,
And close connection to happiness lift.
Access to grandchildren is mission and role,
A gate to kid's souls, a secret parole.
With silver in hair and gold in his heart
He is in your life as a saver chart,
For loving, and teaching, and fixing things,
Through laughs and tears since children’s swings.
Such deepest love not often comes
Without hugging by big and small arms,
The cheapest price one ever has paid
In all his life for such wonderful trade.
