I haven t slept for many nights
And the thoughts were carried away
By crystal-clear ice stellar lights,
By the wind gust of lunar rays.
And I thought, and thought, like never before,
Tried to understand
What is the aim we are seeking for,
Building times of aincient star sends.
Why do we have this endless sky?
To drown in its peaceful depth?
To cry that we can not even vie
With its grandeur, with our own death?
Why do we know these sorrows and fears
That paint our life in grey?
And why do all these bitter tears
Give us hopes and merciful prayers?
For what are lies
Full of desires,
And eternal flame,
Fights and swords and pain
Of our vain dreams?
How tired we are of rocky ways,
How helpless a human being is!
We've always been the planet's slaves
With minds - our only stings.
But still we love the challenging road
That is too short, that’s never too long.
For what to blame the impartial world
If we suffer for our wrong?
And still
There are so many things to live for
And, without a doubt,
The are some beliefs to believe for,
And to look at starry mirrors:
The gold
Of the fields full of risen wheat
Emerald sky world
And the mountains in cool and wild mists,
And the sunlight of blue silver...
How can the curse
Erode the Earth
With its peaks and lows,
With its glory laws
That never grow dim?
I haven't slept for many nights
And the thoughts were carried away ...
