Whatever is the outcome,
We played and had some fun.
Nobody will remember
What happened in long run.
Today we're full of laughter,
Yes, right, nobody cares.
Back then I thought: what after?
You know who wins? Who dares.
Well, that's how I am feeling -
Perhaps I won, so what?
Was happy for an evening
But that was all I got.
One thing I realize now -
I should have never hoped
For something more than just "wow"
And I should have just stopped.
Okay, you beat me to it -
You're awesome anyway.
Although I want to do it,
We'll kiss another day.
