My friend, there're a lot of things I would have said and told
But now the first thing to be said is that we're growing old
You see, it's just the way of life - to get to know yourself,
To take the knowledge that you gain and put it on a shelf.
Don't be afraid to let it go and leave your thoughts aside,
You'd better listen to your heart, 'cause it's your honest guide.
And in conclusion I would add, my friend, that I love you,
These words are dedication, so now they are right on cue.
