HOLY PLACE

I've been a stranger here for almost a hundred years
Wondering to the ends of this sinful Earth
Searching hard for the Holy Place
That Someone Greater built for me

In that Place on my knees
I shall bow alone in the sweetest calm
I shall call upon the HOLY ONE
Praying for forgiveness of my sins

I shall call my God by name
And His greatest name is LOVE
I’m burdened by my sins
HE has all the power to forgive
He will help me understand
Things that I could never comprehend
He will light the only star
In the darkest hour of my life

Suddenly, the ring of time locks up
And my sole acquires long awaited peace
HOLY PLACE and the HOLY ONE
Will abide in me forever by HIS GRACE
