Save the rainforests!

Sumptuous rainforests grow in the West.
Heavenly birds build there their nests.
Tenacious lianas trail from treetops.
Rivers are usually full of fierce crocs.

There are charming flowers with size of a plate.
Grass is covered with snakes - beasts should not hesitate.
Wide crowns of trees eclipse the blue sky.
In darkness of bushes you see panther's eyes...

The worst of predators came not long ago.
Each critter had time to its wrath undergo.
He cut most of palms and put traps to lairs.
That horror was last in Indians' nightmares.

Only human can chop the branch he's sitting on.
Faults should be corrected, we've no time to postpone.
Rainforests, as all woods, are lungs of the Earth.
While it is not late, all harm must be reversed.
