away

I'll marry the forest.
Tonight I'll be wearing the whitest of dresses -
the snow on my bones.
I'm numb to the pain,
my body is frozen,
my  heart's not to blame -
it's burning away with the wildest of flames.

I'll marry the forest,
tonight, in the shadows,
I no longer fear of losing my mind.
I'm ready, it's time
and soon I'll be flying
above my old weakness,
forgetting the sickness
of dying.

I'll marry the forest
in crying,
in happiness, finding salvation,
in numbness of trees and this silence of winter,
where i am so free.

All the things that I've been through
have lost their power.
Tonight I'll be finally whole -
the trees will devour
my soul.
