С землей сравнил армию Персов

Вгоняет имя страх в сердца людей

Легендой стал при жизни своей

Царь Дарий третий
Сбежал из Персии
Скифы отошли за берег Ефрата.
Затем Египет пал к Македонии ногам
Он основал горд в честь Александра


А на Тигре речке,
Опять царю Дарию дал бой он
И сокрушил его в битве при Арбелии
Подчинил и  Вавилон.
У Суза казну всю поимели,
Взял Персеполис – центр Персии

Свою культуру в массы принесли
И вымостили путь для Христианства

С марша - наступали
Александра армия таяла в боях
И не пошли  в Индию, устали,
Терзали битвы, в крови его лавры

In a part of ancient Greece
In an ancient land called Macedonia

To Philip of Macedon
The legend his name was Alexander


 
At the age of nineteen
He became the Macedon King
And he swore to free all of Asia Minor
By the Aegian Sea
In 334 B.C.
He utterly beat the armies of Persia

King Darius the third
Defeated fled Persia

Took Persepolis the capital of Persia
