To fulfill acting potential & succeed in Hollywood for her was not meant.
She was a film and stage star in 1940s, later her fame declined or waned.
Due to encounters with studio management her stardom did not sustain.

Her audience & fellow professionals would love, respect her and adore.

Fitzgerald implemented talent and work ethics in each acting endeavor.

Fitzgerald was character actress & stage director, receiving recognition.
First female Tony nominated, she was pursuing her dream and mission.
She played in comedy & drama films, TV, cabaret, performing her best.
In all her work Geraldine conveyed with courage, intelligence and zest.

November 24th – birthday of Geraldine Fitzgerald, actress of conviction.
She artfully played supporting roles, with leading ones being ambition.
Fitzgerald is remembered as a fine actress, who made her contribution.
Unfortunately, her acting career ultimately shifted toward diminution.
