God s Providence

When your life is on fire and you are in fear,
when your hopes are cast at a merciless distance,
be assured, God's Providence is unmistakably near,
His invisible presence reached your very existence.

When your dreams change colour, and smell, and taste,
when your crippled soul had abandoned the game,
when your old gods' fragments are laying waste -
money, status, achievements, comfort, or fame,

when the rate of exchange of your values and measures
is dramatically falling, the despair is filling
all the cavities, where you were storing your treasures.
Now this devastation seems final and chilling.

In this chaos of losses and sleepless nights,
in this jumble of sorrow, confusion and pain,
if you only stop being led by the sight,
stop bemoaning your former life profane...

If you only ask Jesus touch you with healing,
if you only listen to what Jesus teaches,
He'd transform your life, your hopes, and feelings,
then you'd know how close you are to your riches.
