The Frailty Canticle 24. 02. 07

"...o, miserable sun, consign I will not
I shall not conquereth a false identity o' my kind
And thy light dost not err nocturnal lovers' affection
Pure love flies in the night when you hast sunken beneath god's shameful world..."

                1.
Above the ice tombs of allegiance and honour
The dark shades of grief are engulfing the light
I watch them and smile with the grin of a mourner:
"It's all the same gloom and despair. It's alright."
                2.
Enough of this rubbish! I need no averments
To straightly declare: our own planet is HELL
And midst the distress of the endless interments
My love - she's the only one keeping her spell
                3.
Her charm's not the grace but some kind of attraction
We meet and our past falls apart as a wreck
Our every wild night is the mystical action
But every new morn brings the sense of a lack
                4.
Existing and fading for our frail attachment
Together we're building the house of cards
A bat and a crow would be graved on our hatchment
The lust and the sorrow would be our black gods
                5.
Who's trying to blame us? Another vile dullard
The envy and hate persecute our romance
But we walked our narrow path - ravenblood-colored
And just the ghosts may see our passionate dance
                6.
The fetters of dolour would hardly be riven
For too much fierce evil is dwelling around
And maybe in death we shall not be forgiven
But till that my scarred love will still be profound
                7.
This love's like a drug, like a vital dependence
Though really I know - it shall not last quite long -
Sometimes it's so painful... but every remembrance
Of tenderness gives me the strength to go on
                8.
That's why it's called unity - I won't let sever
Our fragile ties stretched through this decadent world
And 'cause I believe that our souls live forever,
The true feelings cannot be measured in gold
