Patterns Of Apocalypse 28. 07. 05

Стихотворение основано на кошмарных ночных видениях и инфернальных галлюцинациях. Говоря коротко, HELL IS HERE.

The rays of the crimson moon ooze through my ceiling
The nightmares rise up from the fathomless maw
I feel the dark breathing of silence is thrilling
My petrous mind waking the fiends of the awe

I'm dipped into some manic kind of the sopor
Far out of the living reality's range
I rove in a dream like a lonesome landloper
And its ghastly pictures of death never change

The place I'll describe is the realm of the terror
Not hearing the crying nor heeding the prayer
And those, who once made the lethiferous error,
All fall from the edge of the gulf to stay there

And that's what my eyes see: the windmills are burning
Along the long desert road paved with the bones
Where raising the dust the steel carts are returning
They carry the sand and the cemetery stones

The dragons are flying above the black quarry
And deep in its bowels the dead souls work hard
This ground quells the pride, kills the fame and the glory
It lets the condemned know the true curse of god

The slaughtered knights lie with their sword-mangled horses
Not buried they rot in the dry ashen weed
And near by the angels of death fix the crosses -
The bodies on them will eternally bleed

The dread and the ruin, the heat and the swelter
Prevails on these terrains imbued with the ill
The dungeoned ones can't find a cover or shelter
They suffer and writhe by the high Judgement's will

...I watch the grim scenes from the top of the mountain
Apocalypse reigns here and Doom has no end
Its patterns I've faced and its signs I'm still counting -
The shapes of the future which no one can mend

The earth soon will reach its complete dissolution
Before the obtuse guess to strike the alarm
The Chosen will realize their retribution
And then the cruel age of disaster will come

The mortals will crawl on from cradle to coffin
And what? Their void hearts will remain cold as ice
Mankind did forget steeped in foulness and scoffing
That Time's the abysm where everything dies
