The Black Rain s Spectator 07. 07. 04

"...thousand of thoughts were storming my brain
The night had already spread out its cloth above the landscape...
...And once again I was captured by thoughts from the hidden past..."
                Neil Legweak

The shades of the other land's war pass me by
Eclipsing the moon's rays they bitterly cry
They weep for the fallen without any hope
And shed the thick tears seem the poisonous dope
I am a spectator upon the bald hill
I'm looking through death with no fear and no thrill
My heart is inhumed in the sands of despair
And everything I was afraid of rests there

I  stand contemplating the fog-covered plain
And hearing the symphony of the black rain
The tinges of darkness are merging below
And in a void distance the freezing winds blow
I am the eidolon, join me if you dare
To see all my pain and the ice in my hair
My love is the crooked silver cross on the tomb
And my solemn way is the road in the brume

Uncaused desolation! I'm still but your priest
The light of my soul never will be released
This world is too foul; its just worthy of spite
So, take me and keep in the arms of the night
The melancholy's not my immanent state
But in my tomorrow there's none to await
The wheels of the blood-curdling doom cease to turn
And now the existence has no more concern

Damnation! Why can't I forget my distress?
I almost got used to my cold loneliness
But even the buried in agony wish
To free grom their chains and the destiny's leash
My creatures, my heroes! I'm calling for you!
If my flame expire, give our sworn foes their due
The Reaper flies closer, he soon will appear
But my time's not come yet and I'm staying here!

I shan't trust the lies, won't believe the unreal
Wherever the vile essence hides, I'll reveal
There's only one pity - my love's died in vain
But was she the sacred dream I could retain?
The single attachment awaken the woes
Or simply a trick of my fate? No one knows...
My sorrow for her is the haze o'er the heath
Which spreads high and mourns for the life left beneath
