Most people who are easily offended just lack attention because it's not that easy to get offended - it all falls under the true/false category. Truth shouldn't be offensive, the lie even less so, e.g.,
call me "white" - it's true, not offensive;
call me "bald" - it's true, not offensive;
call me an "idiot" (aren't we all at some point?) - if it's true, it's not offensive; if it's false, then it's even less offensive because I should be smarter than that. And so on and so forth.
However, when you give all you've got to someone and that person stabs you in the back and, after you fall, cuts you open and shits into your heart, that I call offensive ...
But even then you probably deserved it or should have seen it coming, but you didn't
Because you are such an idiot ...
