Can make me fly or float:
I’ve never dreamed about that –
So many feelings seem unknown!
The way you say “hello” to me
Sounds kind and so affectionate –
I’ve never thought, assumed, or guessed
That I could be so passionate!
And everything is so nice and cool
Since you’re so exceptional!
Remember meeting you in Cuba -
It ceased my being conventional!
And all the confabs, chats, remarks,
Which I believed were meaningless,
Become remarkable at once,
Attaching great significance.
One could imagine, expect, or hope
That life is so enjoyable!
I feel your company is even more so.
Just preferable. I’m honest.
Maybe too much so.
