Lonely office

She fixes her hair with a palm,
Looks outside the window. It’s calm.
The parking lot outside is full of cars;
She turns away. And suddenly she starts
Thinking of how frustrating her job is,
How few people have benefitted from this,
And it seems like she will always reminisce
The days when life was whirling around him,
When the stars were shining, not so dim,
Her childhood and youth flash in her mind fast,
She dives again into the memories of the past.
