The Old Mill

Look, how strainedly works the mill
For a lot of tasty meal.

It is staying on the hill,
It's so old, lovely mill.

Now our barns can fill
With the corn without peel

For all things. We are to deal
Butter cookies with some dill,

Soup with millet or with rice,
Garnish wholesome and nice,

Rolls and pies, curd tarts and cakes,
Bread, and porridge, and cornflakes...

It is greatly able to heal
Sickness better than a pill.

You'll be round like a reel
And more heavy than a seal.
