While stupefied by the vastness of the Universe,
I'm trying first
to decipher mysteries on Earth.
To name just a few that create havoc
and bemusement, and often evoke
turmoil in my soul:
-What always happens to the second sock?
The sock, like a magician's assistant, enters the drum
and it's gone...- How come
when I reassemble my car
I always end up with extra parts
(mind you, the car continues to run)?
-And, most of all. I'm bedazzled by these:
If a goose joins the herd,
it becomes one of'em geese,
but the moose, no matter how many of them join forces,
will never amount to meese?
