i miss you

They say that when you miss someone you feel so high
That you trust in everything and you’ve got nothing to deny.
That you can’t see any fogs or rains despite the frosty fall,
And there are no roads that are impossible for you to go.
You’re said to dry the tears and lighten up the dark.
You’ve got a necklace with four shining letters, sparkling “Luck”.
And some more ink words, covering your pale-snow skin.
They seem so delicate, as if were tattooed from within.

I daresay that when you miss someone you feel so down
As if you were buried deep under the icy ground.
As if there is no more air for you to breathe.
As if you have no soul right underneath
Your skin, your bones and even deep inside.
It feels as if you have nothing left to hide.

And people stare at me with hesitating, doubtful gaze.
As if I promised to win the battle, and lost the first race.
And they didn’t expect me to finish and are waiting for some more.
And I murmur it silently, summing up everything I have said before:
“Of course, missing someone is a killing pleasure one can’t resist,
But it only happens so when you’ve got someone to wait and someone to miss.”
