Chronology: terrestrial society learned to build big underwater tankers and underwater stations for them. The underwater merchant cargo fleet became the main fleet owing to the economic reasons: Northern Great maritime subglacial routes in the year-round constant mode "online-365"  to Europe and North America, and also all surface transportations translated to underwater tankers use higher efficiency of submarines, loyal loads of a case under water and support of a schedule of navigation at any storm.
This set of technologies of underwater fleet is useful to our civilization at development of Venus (Venus at decrease in density of the Solar wind completely will become covered with water, exactly so was long ago on Earth as ancient sea salt is found even at tops of mountains of our planet Sol-3), and also on Earth when dangerous radiation from the Sun will transfer people of Earth from land to surface-underwater cities.

Хронология: земное общество научилось строить большие подводные танкеры и подводные станции для них. Подводный гражданский грузовой флот стал основным флотом в силу экономических причин: Северные Великие морские подлёдные пути в круглогодичном постоянном режиме "online-365" в Европу и Северную Америку, а также все надводные перевозки переведённые на подводные танкеры используют более высокий КПД подводных лодок, лояльные нагрузки на корпус под водой и  поддержку расписания навигации при любом шторме.
Этот набор технологий подводного флота пригодится цивилизации при освоении Венеры (Венера при снижении плотности Солнечного ветра полностью покроется водой, ровно так было давно на Земле, поскольку древняя морская соль найдена даже на вершинах гор нашей планеты), а также на Земле, когда опасная радиация от Солнца переведёт землян с суши в надводно-подводные города.

Первые семьи землян под водой это экипажи подводных танкеров, затем с появлением подводных станций - экипажи подводных станций, в итоге целая индустрия строительства надводно-подводных городов.

Современный грузо-перевозочный флот состоит из больших кораблей-танкеров, которые могут плавать в надводном и подводном режиме, благодаря чему они могут проходить сквозь шторм (уходя на небольшую глубину) и новые пути подо льдами (http://www.stihi.ru/2013/09/05/5073).
Автоматика и современные технологии позволяют иметь экипаж  всего из двух человек (фактически как в современных самолётах).
Чаще всего на такие суда команда формируется из семейной пары, поскольку это очень гармонично, напоминает путешествие на семейном автомобиле, только на большие расстояния, связано с заработком от морских грузоперевозок, представляет собой некое новое сообщество (например, есть любители яхт, а это команды новых надводно-подводных транспортников).
В морских путешествиях присутствует мощная интеграция с наземными, космическими и новыми подводными коммуникациями, интеграция такого уровня, что кроме обязательного состава экипажа из взрослых двух человек (капитана и помощника) на борту подводного корабля могли прекрасно себя чувствовать и жить их дети. В какой-то степени это более чем логично для семейных пар, тем более в прекрасном мире высоких технологий и единения с природой (плавания подо льдами позволяют заметить первозданную природу).
Кроме тесной интеграции с цивилизацией (её шумом) на подводных танкерах есть подводный катер-модуль и возможность в специальных гидрокостюмах безопасно находиться на поверхности океана в любой шторм. Шторм-дайвинг позволяет ощутить красоту моря в новых невиданных красках.

The modern cargo-transportation fleet consists of the big ships, which can float in a surface and underwater mode, thanks to what they can pass through a storm (leaving on small depth) and new ways under ices (http://www.stihi.ru/2013/09/05/5073).
Automatic equipment and modern technologies allow to have crew from only two people (actually as in modern planes).
Most often on such vessels the team is formed from a married couple as it is very harmonious, reminds travel on the family car, only on long distances, is connected with earnings from a sea cargo transportation, represents a certain new community (for example, there are fans of yachts, and it is teams of new surface and underwater transport-ship).
At voyages there is a powerful integration with land, space and new underwater communications, integration of such level that except obligatory structure of crew from adult two people (captain and his engineer) onboard the underwater ship there could feel and live perfectly their children. To some extent it more than logically for married couples, especially in a wonderful world of high technologies and unifications with the nature (swimmings under ices allow to notice the primary nature).
Except close integration with a civilization (its noise) on underwater tankers there is an underwater boat module and opportunity it is safe to be in special diving suits on an ocean surface during any storm. The storm diving allows to feel beauty of the sea in new unprecedented paints.

 

На прогулке шторм-дайвинга, когда команда из подводного танкера может спокойно плавать среди любого шторма:

 - может быть тебе немного неуютно?
 - да
 - дети уснули, я поставил сенсор, мы бы сразу узнали, что они проснулись, вот картинка на экран
 - ты не выключил у них свет
 - ты же знаешь, так они спокойно засыпают
 - давай вернёмся, надо приготовить им завтрак
 - возвращаемся

(подводный катер-модуль втягивает на тросе команду, затем в свою очередь легко возвращается на подводный корабль).

On walk a storm diving when the team from the underwater tanker can quietly float among any storm:

(the underwater boat module involves team on a cable, then in turn easily comes back to the underwater cargo-ship-submarine)
