September 14th – Amy Winehouse’s birthday.  In 2013 there is 30 years since she was born.


Amy Winehouse – a supreme performer with giant talent, versatility,
A songwriter, singer, musician, arranger with the world of possibility.
Possessing rich contralto, she fused eclectically jazz, reggae, R&B, soul.
Fulfilling vocal gifts, writing songs to cope with problems was her goal.

She’s known for immense potential, creativity, cleverness, originality.
Along with wit, humor, generosity, intelligence Amy gained popularity.
She had donated to many charities helping as much as she could have.
Amy - kind hearted deep inside, loved children, whom she tried to save.

In her songs, Winehouse incorporated feeling of hurt, sadness, despair.
Experiencing dark emotions in her environment and age - relatively rare.
Amy loved music very much and used it to cope with problems or heal.
On personal level, no one exactly knew what she’d experience and feel.

Amy - a multitalented persona, whose life, unfortunately, was cut short.
Fragile and vulnerable, she’d known for self-destructive action, thought.
Winehouse’s remembered as gifted for performances and composition.
Sadly, world suddenly lost true talent, soft, gentle soul to the addiction.

September 14th – birthday of Amy Winehouse, we think of her in heart.
Achieving critical acclaim, commercial success for her was not too hard.
Her signature included retro music, vintage style, vocal delivery, phrasing.
Her contribution to the music world was indispensable, superb, amazing.
