Детское счастье...

Видит Бог - я жизнь ценила,
И радовалась - рассвету и закату;
Леса, поля, цветы - любила,
Я, и поныне, всему и вокруг рада.
Ещё, я очень - любила детство...
Как в летний дождь, под радугой смеялись;
Загадывали секретные желанья,
По лужам босиком - под дождиком плескались.
И, раскрывая руки, ловили золотые капли,
И, поднимая глаза к небу - радовались солнцу;
Мы тогда ещё - не знали, что такое счастье,
Но радовались зимнему морозцу.
Ловили ртом пушистые снежинки,
Под снегопадом - кружились, словно в вальсе;
И ждали Новый Год, игрушки, ёлки...
В снежки играли, замерзали пальцы.
А по весне - любила я ручьи,
Журчанье, пенье птиц и запах неба;
И растворялась я в земной любви,
Тогда не думала, что вспомню я - когда-то это.
А осень, напоминала мне закат,
А по утрам - покрыто всё туманом;
А под ногами - красно-жёлтый маскарад...
И думать не хотелось ни о чём.
Вот разве, - вспоминается с годами...©

Childhood happiness...
Amalia Reeves
God knows I treasured life,
And rejoiced in the sunrise and sunset;
I loved forests, fields, flowers,
And still am happy with everything around me.
I also loved my childhood very much...
How we laughed under a rainbow in the summer rain;
We made secret wishes,
Barefoot in puddles, splashing in the rain.
And, opening our arms, we caught the golden drops,
And, raising our eyes to the sky, we rejoiced in the sun;
We didn't yet know what happiness was,
But we rejoiced in the winter frost.
We caught fluffy snowflakes with our mouths,
Whirling under the snowfall, as if in a waltz;
And we waited for the New Year, toys, Christmas trees...
We played snowballs, our fingers froze. And in the spring, I loved streams,
The murmur, the singing of birds, and the scent of the sky;
And I dissolved in earthly love,
I never thought I'd ever remember this.
And autumn reminded me of sunset,
And in the mornings, everything was shrouded in fog;
And underfoot, a red-yellow masquerade...
And I didn't want to think about anything.
Except, I remember over the years...©
