So long, I will seek you in the morning light
Will recall you on a long and quiet night,
Hear you in the tunes of jazz on holidays,
Remember you on all the festive days,
And keep you as a cause for inspiration,
Reflecting constantly my endless admiration
In the profound essence of my rhymed lines,
I will see a piece of you in many happy smiles,
Keep you always dearly in the back of my mind,
And imagine that once again you’ll be mine.
