Never looking behind their back
Like racing horses on the track
Controlling everything except of luck
On every corner and each pace
A fatal stone may great their face
Despite the promise of fair chase in any case
The finish line a sign of grace
Seems so far and very dim
Providing gamblers with a chance to win
