I love you and I love you not
I’m playing with this word
You made that thick and ugly Knott
And caught me like a bird

To be your friend was not enough
And you did ask for more
You didn’t say you’d play so rough
What we were fighting for?

You were so tough so cruel so mean
And I was clean and pure
Is that what you did really mean
When asking if I’m sure?

And I agreed. I didn’t know
That you would cut my wings
And I can’t fly, not even low
My chains are our rings

I’ll spend a whole life thinking if
You ever can be changed.
You stole my heart, you are the thief.
You locked it in a cage.

I was a fool, I thought it’s fun
Before you’ve hurt me first.
I realized that I should run
But can’t. I must be cursed.

You did it once, you’ll do again.
There is nothing can be done
With all those feelings and that pain
And I give up – you won.
