Benny Goodman

Benjamin David “Benny” Goodman  -  a popular and versatile musician.
As an extraordinary bandleader, clarinetist, songwriter had his mission.
Exploring jazz and classical music, evolving and transitioning to swing,
He had fulfilled potentials, mastered skills, been named “King of Swing.”

Benny displayed himself as technically virtuosic, creative, enthusiastic.
He had contributed to changes in the music style that had been drastic.
Goodman was known for being a perfectionist, thriving to be the best.
He played, popularized jazz, swing with his unique, distinguished zest.

Goodman had led a music band and played clarinet with improvisation.
In his continuous attempts was quality execution, novelty manifestation.
Aimed for flawless performance, virtuosity with which he was impatient,
Benny earned worldwide acclaim, appreciation, admiration, adoration.

While in his lifetime, era there had been race inequality or segregation.
Benny had made a band and implemented musicians’ races integration.
Both Blacks and Whites performed together with Goodman as supporter.
He had conveyed himself as pioneer, innovator and integration reporter.

May 30th – birthday of Benny Goodman, a talented and skilled swing king.
He was unstoppable, unbeatable as solo and a band on his musical rink.
A musical embassador, maestro evoked sophistication, gained popularity
Both in his music and band inventions, and advocacy for a racial equality.
