Despondency... Алина Кан

Despondency
Алина Кан

Sometimes I wish I could jump off the sky,
The sky, that you for some reason made footless.
You’re asking, if I want the victory mine.
But I want the freedom, and thus I’ll stay wordless.

Sometimes I wish I could jump off the sea,
The sea of the winter, that you brought to my world.
You’ll ask, if that’s true, there’s no pain in me.
And truth wouldn’t let me to say you a word.

Sometimes I wish I could jump off the sun,
The sun, that you’ve made as cold as a wind blast.
You’ll ask, if would come back something, that’s gone,
And I will say nothing, relying on forecast…
