The Moon is shining as if it were a day!
It's not a Sparrow trying out his voice -
It's an Owl making his evil choice.
Oh those old bones that have been resting for long
In the cold and slimy coffin, out you come!
Come here to dance! Let’s celebrate -
White Lady of our Doom and Fate
Appears once a dozen years -
Oh, she will ease our bitter tears.
Oh Thou, Pale Lady of my soul!
I beg Thee t'sing a song of sorrow!
A night is in my heart,
My mind is the night.
It's only the full Moon
That is shining so bright...
