Why do people seek for a hidden meaning
When there is no hidden meaning?
If it hurt your feelings,
I'm sorry, I take that back.
But why would you take it personally?
Don't you know where my heart lies?
Don't you know that for me the past stays dead,
After all, we've all made mistakes
And I am not the one to judge you.

You really think I'd go behind your back?
Then I'm afraid you don't know me at all.
