You go away, secure yourself behind the wall,
It’s hard to penetrate, I want to crush it,
Here on the other side I’m just a lifeless doll…
You give me hope and suddenly you flush it.
I can’t go back and leave you here alone,
You can’t move forward until you cope with your fear…
I guess I’ll start to decompose it stone by stone,
Until I hear you breathe and feel you near.
You close your eyes, you touch my hand, I know it’s true,
It feels so special just to stroke your wiry hair…
You’re not sure what we’ll have to go through,
But really, does it matter… we can share.
I’ll haunt your nightmares, chase away your doubts,
I know I promise much, I beg, I clatter…
You text me it’s a lovely snowy day, no clouds…
Somehow this very instant I feel better…
