Christmas wish for Mom

It’s Christmas once again, the joy is in the air
And everywhere you look there is a smiling face
Let’s celebrate the end of yet another year
With those whom we love and always want them near
In coziness and warmth of this inviting place.

This year has been long and hard by any measure
The ocean of our lives was seldom nice and calm
It was a bumpy ride and not a cruise of pleasure
It made us realize how much we need to treasure
The warm and caring hands of our Dear Mom.

Sometimes we’re feeling down and life seems almost tragic
We get consumed by worries, careers, debts and bills
But then our Mom comes in and does her quiet magic
We’re still just kids to her, more then we can imagine
In need of her protection, her food and certain pills.

We’re still a bunch of boys and girls who need her care
Who still get sad and lonely and want her loving touch
We still upset her taste with what we choose to wear
For every one of us she has a special prayer
She gives us all she’s got and never asks for much!

She walks from dooor to door in every kind of weather
She brings us love like blessings from heaven up above
That’s why when we were kids, we’d find in bed a feather
She is the magic power that keeps us all together
Our Guardian, our Angel… The Messenger of Love!

So on this day of days we want to let you know
Just how much we love you and need you every day
To lift our fallen selves, no matter how low
To help us raise our kids, to watch them play and grow
To be there when we rip and then to help us sew
To tell us who we were at 16 years old
To help us stand our ground through every hit and blow
To whisper in our ear just like long time ago
I always will be there. I'll never go away!!!
